Robbery: Plan. Prevent. Prevail.

“I cased that bank out for about two weeks before I decided to rob it.”  Those chilling words were spoken by a violent take-over robber who had carefully planned his crime with his accomplice.  He, like so many others, had taken time to scout out the perfect spot and believed he would get away with it.  He was wrong.  In what seems to be an ever-increasingly violent world, what can we do to protect ourselves?  In this comprehensive eLearning program, participants discover various robbery methods and best practices for prevention and response.  Safe opening and closing procedures are demonstrated, as well as steps to take after a robbery occurs.  Additionally, participants will hear from actual bank robbers who provide insight into what they were looking for, how they cased out their targets and carried out their crimes.

Program Highlights:

  • Making your location less attractive to criminals
  • Before, during, and after a robbery
  • Bank robbers: in their own words
  • Morning glory robberies
  • Proven methods of prevention

Violence in the Workplace: Prevention & Response

“This is what keeps me up at night.”  Carol Dodgen has heard these words more than once from managers about the topic of workplace violence.

How many people are currently contemplating committing an act of violence in your workplace? Preventing these acts is much preferred and more cost-effective than cleaning up afterwards. It is essential that we train employees to recognize pre-incident indicators and report them before an act of violence occurs, but it is also critical to have a plan in place to respond should the unthinkable happen. In Dodgen Security’s just-released program Violence in the Workplace, we examine what constitutes workplace violence,  what forms it takes, who commits these acts, and steps we must take to prevent it from happening to us.  Participants will have a clear understanding of the existing violence problems, ways to recognize warning signs, prevention policies and methods, and the importance of planning for the worst.

Our goal is to prevent these occurrences.  But should it happen, we want to prepare employees to survive.
